Love the story about Lucca riding his first real bike-and the parallel to teaching! And my kids LOVED the zoo when they were little (and they still do as teenagers, actually) so I can relate to having a great day at the zoo. Thank you for your always encouraging posts and book recs!
I’m still going through Pride and Prejudice, An Unfinished Love Story, and the summer reading book. But since I’m on vacation, I brought Emily Henry’s Funny Story and Rory by Alan Shipnuck.
The bike analogy! Just finished Haidt’s Anxious Generation, I feel like I have insider information to understand why kids behave and think the way they do. Very helpful! Thanks for the list that does indeed read like a poem. I’m thinking of printing a few at a time to put in picture frames to display on the circulation desk, change them weekly. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing🤗
